Wow, not into amusements, shopping or dinner shows? Sounds like you picked the wrong beach. I think the one non-amusement thing I did in my trips down there was go to Brookgreen Gardens. It%26#39;s been several years since I was there, but I remember it took most of the day to see and was pretty relaxing. You can see their website here. http://www.brookgreen.org/ You may want to take a day trip to Charleston, which is only 90 minutes away, and a really nice city to visit.

Wrong destination given your interests. Go stay 90 minutes down the coast to Charleston instead. Tons of history, plantations and the popular aquarium and Patriots Point navy stuff. If you want a beach vacation, stay on the Isle of Palms large great beach and just 15 minutes from Charleston.
