Anyone know Best Area to find Shells?

I realize your suppose to go look after a storm and at low tide so on. But which area is best north myrtle, myrtle, south myrtle, murrells inlet, cherry grove, and so forth?

Any place along the Grand Strand you can find shells. Some areas are better than others. As a rule, North Myrtle have very little to find. The farther south you go, the better the shelling is.

In less crowded areas, like around the Dunes Village Resort at 52nd Ave, you will find a great selection. Less people, more shells can be found. Pawleys Island has a few but mostly you will find moon stones.....those thin moon shaped rocks that when you hold them up, you can see thru them. Cherry Hill is in the North section and I have never found much there. One good thing, though and that%26#39;s anywhere in the area you will find sharks teeth. Just walk with the sun to your back and at low tide, they will simmer in the light.
