Most of the hotels are good if they maintain an internet website. You may want to consider renting a two bedroom condo in NMB through GMAC Elliot realty. Not only is it cheaper but the hotels on the main strip in Myrtle Beach are right by the road where thousands of cars cruise each night with their radios turned up all the way until 2 AM or so. You won%26#39;t like it if you%26#39;re trying to sleep and it%26#39;s one reason I started staying in North Myrtle Beach years ago. Check the internet for GMAC Elliot realty. You have to maintain your own room but it%26#39;s better than having the domestic help wake you up at 9 in the morning. As far as nightlife they have all sorts of things to do at night. One thing I%26#39;ve noticed is that when people get to the beach, the sea air has a tendency to knock them out early the first few days. As far as hooking up with a younger crowd you can do that at a club. Numerous good ones.

Hey there - we went to NMB with several couples (all mid 20%26#39;s) several years ago and rented condos from Beachcomber Vacations. The condo%26#39;s we stayed in slept 6 (Nautical Watch) were clean, right on the beach, and centrally located (Barefoot Landing is across rt. 17 and we walked back from the House of Blues after seeing Train - I couldn%26#39;t have asked for a better time. The walk was a little long - but after drinking, it is better than driving, and too short to bother with a cab ride.

Definitely check the HOB website to see what shows are coming up!

Just down 17 is Broadway on the Beach (similar to City Walk in Orlando) great bars, shopping, mini-golf. When we were there there was an 70-80%26#39;s disco bar (have a nice day cafe?) the dueling piano bar - similar to Howl @ the Moon.. the place definitely gets amp%26#39;d up with people!

We are planning another group vacation and will stay again at the same places, NMB is much quieter (especially nice for sleeping-in mornings) better traffic wise etc / and not too far to take a cab back from the bars -

You%26#39;ll have a great time.

I would suggest staying at the Coral Beach resort. They are centrally located to all the action. If you do not feel like getting out and dressed up after a day at the beach. The resort has a great pool side bar and a on site comedy club. They also have a restaurant on site. The pool side bar is so much fun. They do karokee til 1:00 or later in the am they also play poolside music most of the day. They also have a bowling alley at the hotel too.If you want to go to some fun bars take a cab to Broadway at the beach.website is wwwthecoralbeach.com/sp
