Vacation w/4 kids

I am looking for a reasonable and clean hotel/condo in Myrtle Beach for appr 6/7-6/12. We have 4 children. I know that 6/4-6/6 is Sun Fun Fest. Is the end of this week still crowded here. We stayed at the Affordable Family Resort last year and it was OK, but I%26#39;m looking for a reasonable place to stay that has a little more to do such as indoor pool/lazy river, game room. With 4 children we will need a kitchen. Please let me know if you know of any place that is clean, cheap, family oriented.

Vacation w/4 kids

We have 4 kids, too, age 3 -19. Our main concerns are safety, cleanliness and space.

I don%26#39;t know the price range for June as I always visit in April, but...

The Carribean Beach Resort - NICE. Reasonably priced, clean, and a great pool area, (kiddie section, lazy river, indoor %26amp; outdoor pools). I personally don%26#39;t care for the lay-out of the rooms, (Enter into bedroom area w/2 double beds, next a hall kitchen with bathroom to the opposite side and then the living area with pull down bed) but workable. Friendly staff.

Captain%26#39;s Quarters - Hated this place, but reasonably priced with lots of pools. We had a room with a similar lay-out as described above, but it smelled. Also, the indoor corridors remind me of a prison movie with catwalks... and they smelled of fumes due to the parking arrangement.

The Breakers North Tower - Loved it! Reasonable, clean, quiet. We had a F suite... enter into living area with pull out sofa, separate full kitchen with washer/dryer, bath is off bedroom w/2 double beds. No indoor pools but has outdoor pool, sm. lazy river, and hot tub. Guest are welcome to use Breakers Paradise Resorts amenities (loaded) which is a 7 block walk.

Roxanne Towers - GREAT, loved it. Just returned from there on 4/24. Clean, quiet, very spacious. We had a 2 bedroom, (2 doubles in one and a king in the other) 2 bath, full kitchen with washer/dryer. No indoor pools but 2 outdoor pools, lazy river and hot tub. This room was more $ than the others.

Try holiday sands north stayed there last year nothing fancy but clean very cheap stayed 10 days for under 700.00. indoor lazy river and pool,gameroom and oceanfront resturant. much nicer than affordable family resort plus good location.

sandpotato, thanks for the info on the Roxanne. I will be staying there for the first time in about a week. Please post your full review of this hotel whenever you get a chance. We also have 4 kids and are going to MB for the first time in July. We have just rented a condo at Myrtle Beach Resort. I had read a previous post that recommended renting from www.mymyrtlebeachresort.com. That is who we went with. A weeks rental with accomodations for 6 people was very affordable. The resort looks fantastic.
