I would choose Hampton Inn Oceanfront because the rooms are clean, the staff helpful, the location good, and they have a free breakfast every morning.

Birdlady, The Embassy Suites is a fabulous hotel. Perfect location, only problem is that it%26#39;s getting run down. It%26#39;s pretty much the same price as the Hampton Suites, but it does add a $10.00 a day resort fee. Has beautiful pools, outdoor bars, snack bars, kids activities, splashdown waterpark, live entertainment poolside, free cooked to order breakfast, free drinks and snacks each night from 5-7 (I think that%26#39;s the time?) The list goes on, it%26#39;s truly outstanding. Just want to do smething different this year, have been doing this for years. What is near The Hampton Inn Oceanfront? Can I walk anyplace to eat, shop, etc?

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront. It%26#39;s nice but the room did seem small. I always stay at Hampton%26#39;s when doing road trips. However, nothing beats Kingston Plantation. The amenities there are superior to any place in Myrtle Beach.

There%26#39;s so much to do within the plantation that you rarely need to venture out to the crowded roadways. Walmart is one mile away along with the Tanger Outlets. Kroger is one mile the other direction. Southern Market restaurant is in the Kroger plaza. You can walk to any of these places if you want.

The plantation offers shuttles to the walmart plaza.

The tennis and fitness facilities at Kingston are great.

The nice thing about Kingston is that it offers every type of accomodation and price range. You can stay oceanfront in one of the condos, stay at the Embassy Suites, stay in one of the many types of villas and you will get the same perks as anyone there. The grounds are gorgeous. I%26#39;m going next Saturday for a week and I can%26#39;t wait! We%26#39;ll be staying at Windermere, 4 bedroom, 3 bath with an oceanview. GORGEOUS!I will never stay anywhere else but Kingston.

I would choose Hampton Inn as I heard great things about it. We stayed at Kingston Planation Hampton Towers North and it was a nice condo however there was a fee everyday to use the waterpark and it was something like $10.00 per child per day, it was free to the guests at the Wyndham I believe. Some other things did not work out at the hotel either, so I would never stay there again. Hope this helps.
