First, let me start by saying that I have two young toddlers who need an ';outside'; kiddie pool for our vacation. We would like to stay close to the pavilion, etc.
We were debating on either:
1) Sandy Beach, 2) The Reef 3) Landmark or 4)Captain%26#39;s Quarter
We have checked out The Breakers - no availability in the Paradise Bldg., Camelot - no avail. %26amp; we like the Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach but does not have outside ';kiddie pool'; %26amp; wants more than an arm and a leg for the room.
We would like something that is nice, clean room with not so worn down furniture. Trust me we have learned fast not to rely on the brochures as we have been suckered before. Please give me any comments if you have stayed at any of the above places.
An ';outside'; kiddie pool is a must, of course with nice clean rooms.
Thanks a Bunch,
Tammi

Has anyone stayed at....
We have stayed several times at the Sandy Beach and have enjoyed every stay. Our room has always been in the Magnolia building and the rooms were spacious, nicely furnished and clean. Our last stay was in 2004 and we plan on going back in 2006. We especially like the central location and the ability to get around town via backroads without having to deal with traffic on 17, 501 and Ocean Blvd. With the Pavilion a few blocks away, Family Kingdom across the street, a convenience store across the street, dining and ice cream options close by and the Strands only oceanfront water park right next door what more could you ask for. We love it.

Sandy beach is nice ,Landmark is a stye and Captains quarters is kind of old and rundown but opening up a new pool complex this summer.
Well, as you know, if you are currently looking for availability for mid July, things are getting booked fast! So my husband and I are going to stay at Sandy Beach. I really hope that it is nice and also convenient for our toddlers.
Don%26#39;t stay at the Captain%26#39;s Quarters if your concerned with cleanliness. Youngsters tend to touch everything and CQ%26#39;s carpet and bed spread are too dirty to subject them to it. I wasn%26#39;t happy with my last stay there when I tirned back the bed spread to see blood on it. I haven%26#39;t been the same.
