I need to know if teenagers can use the board to play in waves. We went in Virginia Beach last summer and my sons played all the time with the surf board in the waves. I just need to know if there are a lot of waves to play in with the body board. If not we are not going to gring it.

I think you are refering to what we call a ';boogie board';. Yes, there are plenty of great waves most days for your kids to enjoy. My kids love to ride their boogie boards all day long! I don%26#39;t have that much energy!

Sometimes there may be days when there will be no wind, and there will just be small waves right at the shoreline. Other days if the weather is stormy the surf may be too rough, and have a strong undertow so being in the ocean would not be a good idea. Most days the waves in summer are just perfect for riding ';boogie boards';.

Are you flying or drivining? they sell boogie boards for between 2and 10 dollars all over the downtown area not worth the hassle of bringing. just buy one and leave it.
