Kingston or Something in NMB?

The furthest north we%26#39;ve ever stayed is KIngston Plantation. Yes, it has lots of amenities, but I%26#39;m finding the growth is compromising service and general atmosphere. We%26#39;re considering staying at Avista but need some info. How%26#39;s the beach in that area? How far north is it ( say, in relation to Ocean Creek )? How crowded do you think the pools will be during the summer? I mean, I%26#39;m an early-riser, but I resent having to arise at 6am just to reserve a lounge chair! Are there any other places anyone would recommend to a family of 4 with 2 teens? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any info!

Kingston or Something in NMB?

Don%26#39;t know Avista - but we love NMB, Barefoot Landing is located across rt. 17 (we stayed on Ocean Blvd). Alabama Theatre, House of Blues, lots of great things at Barefoot. Have kids check out upcoming acts at HOB, they don%26#39;t disappoint - and if you%26#39;re young at heart, join them. Great ampatheatre!

The reason we love NMB vs MB is it is a much more relaxed atmosphere. NMB crowd aren%26#39;t the early riser - pool chair snatcher - kind. Mostly more relaxed friendly atmosphere. We love it! Lots of families.

Pools can get crowded, but not nearly what it is like in MB - same with beach - everyone has their own spaces.
