Info Needed

My husband and I received this ';free vacation';. We have never done this before. They say we have to report to the visitor center and then we will find out where we are to stay. Has anyone else ever done this? We are alittle nervous because we have kids and do not want to stay in a dumpy motel. Any info would be appreciated.

We haven%26#39;t done that before either. If you don%26#39;t mind me asking, how did you get a ';free'; vacation?

Thanks

We received it thru a company we do business with. We were initially told we had to go to a time share presentation and that we would be put into one of there resorts. Now we are not going to the time share but I am concerned about what kind of hotel we will be staying at. Anyways I have already put out $70. So it really is not free.

Wow.. you get the ';free';stuff without the time share spill. Well I must warn you... stay away from the front desk. They will try to get you where they can. They actually ';sell'; these on ebay...and whereever there are tourist walking around. Charleston, Gatlinburg, and MB are well known for these freebies. If you are willing to sit thru an hour to 2 hour presentation.. and say no thank you 30 times.. it could be well worth it. I think the deal in Charleston.. you get to stay in the resort for 2 nights..2 tickets for a carriage tour.. and a 50 gift cert for dinner. As far as the place where you will be staying.. I would think it will be really nice. Please pass on any info to us after your trip though... and good luck. Phrase for the week....No Thank You.. hehe

Unless you won some kind of contest none of these kinds of things are totally free- there are always strings attached. The ';just send $70 for your free trip'; deal sounds like the scams we are always being warned about. Why risk ruining your vacation? Since you%26#39;re into this for $70 already I would call the local MB BBB and the MB Chamber and see if they have any info on the company offering you this ';deal';. Ask yourself this- why would anyone give you something potentially worth hundreds of dollars for no reason?
