Suggestions for a bachelorette trip

I will be going to MB with 4 other girls (all around 30 y.o.) at the end of July as a bachelorette celebration. None of us have ever been to MB. Does anyone have suggestions for a nice hotel on the beach and close to the nightlife where we can all stay in one unit? Any with beach barbecues or parties and pool bars? We want to find a nice hotel, but one that caters slightly to the young adult crowd rather than families for this trip. We have considered Camelot, Caravelle, Forest Dunes, Holiday Inn Oceanfront, but it seems like there are so many to choose from. Help?! Any suggestions on activities and places to go to celebrate one of my friend%26#39;s last weekends as a single woman would be helpful too. Thanks so much!

Suggestions for a bachelorette trip

Holiday Inn Oceanfront is aweful. It is a complete dump.I have stayed in better motel 6.The only thing it has going for it is that it is on the beach and they do have good bands playing there.I think Coral beach resort is great. They have great pool side bar with entertaiment and karokee as well as sports bar and comedy club on premises. They also have a bowling alley. The reort is fairly close to bars but you all should catch a cab to Broadway at the beach to do those bars. The other resorts you listed are pretty far from the action.Have a great trip and tell your friend congrads on the marriage.

Suggestions for a bachelorette trip

Hampton Inn at Broadway at the Beach (Broadway is shops, dining and entertainment complex) and Radisson Plaza. I never stayed at either but I looked at them online and they look nice. There is alot to do in Myrtle Beach. Have a good time!

I%26#39;ve never stayed at The Sands Resort but I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s got a great ocean front bar- Ocean Annie%26#39;s that has live entertainment. Check out their web site. Broadway at the Beach is the place to go at night to get a variety of bars/clubs.

HAmpton Inn @ Braodway at the Beach. It is in the Broadway complex... so no DUI%26#39;s! And there are like 10 different clubs to check out everynight. :o)

lots of places to stay BUT ';IF'; YOU were in my taxi I%26#39;d be driving you to a place called The MASTERS Club !!! guaranteed.

Sands Ocean Club with the ';Ocean Annies'; Beachfront Bar is exactly what you are looking for and is probably your best bet in Myrtle Beach based on the criteria in your post.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn - -Oceanfront -- at least four years ago -- and it was a dump then .. things were just old, old, old! They did consistently have a caribbean style band playing .. that was probably the highlight. Go somewhere else.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I%26#39;ll check into the ones you%26#39;ve listed. Sounds like Sands might be a good option since a few of you mentioned it.

You might be better off renting a beach house with a pool. More privacy, sleep late without the maids bothering you, etc. GMAC Elliott realty has a huge choice of listings and I used to use them before I bought a house in the area.

Sounds like you%26#39;ve gotten some great advice on where to stay - I%26#39;d like to offer up some party suggestions - fun stuff to do. At Barefoot Landing (NMB - $15 by cab from MB) there is a House of Blues, definitely check to see what shows are in town - other than being a great bar there is an ampatheatre attached and they book great shows. I%26#39;ve said this on this board before but I saw Train there and they were OUTSTANDING.

Also, broadway at the beach (MB) has a number of great bars you can crawl-through - very similar to City Walk in Orlando - multiple bars, all within close proximity to one and other and all have themes (Dance Club, Dueling Piano bar where everyone sings etc.. ) it really is lots of fun - lots of people there your age all looking for a great party.

ENJOY!
