Never been to Myrtle Beach, going for a week in July with my family, kids are 9 and 12.
I know that there%26#39;s more fun at MB than I can fit into a week. Excluding all golfing and the beach, what would you suggest that I MUST see?

My son was 10 when we went to mytle beach last here is a list of things we really enjoyed Medevil times dinner show,Alligator adventure park (you get 2 day free)Nascar speed park, and wife and kids might enjoy barfoot landing.Boat cruise also.
I read what everyone else wrote - but didn%26#39;t want to repeat, so here are some other ideas!
On a rainy day - we caught a great show at the IMAX theatre, that great!
My niece LOVED the Dixie Stampede (check for coupons/discounts it is a little expensive) but it is a great show especially for kids in that age group, and kids young at heart (like myself!).
My cousin (age 12) loved the Midevil show - similar to the dixie stampede, but I%26#39;ve never seen it.
My friends and I ALWAYS check out what shows are upcoming for trips to House of Blues, you could be the best parents on the planet if you get them tickets to some great show!
We enjoyed Medieval Times, NASCAR Speed Park, Ripley%26#39;s Aquarium and House of Blues. We travel with four boys ranging in age from 3 to 16 and everyone has a great time, even Aunt Theresa who is 75. We also enjoyed Jimmy Buffet%26#39;s Margaritaville for dinner. The teens had fun and the adults had a great time! Oh, I almost forgot we enjoyed Myrtle Waves which is near Broadway At The Beach. You are going to have a great time. Have fun.
Try to make it down to Murrell%26#39;s Inlet one evening for dinner. It%26#39;s about 10 to 15 miles south of Myrtle Beach on Highway 17 depending on where you are staying. Great waterfront dining along the marsh walk. Also, if you drive down that way take in Brookgreen Gardens also south on Highway 17. There are also several different boat trips out of Murrell%26#39;s Inlet. Fishing, sight seeing etc.

I have a few questions for you, Can you give advice on restaurants in Murrells Inlet, what is your favorite restaurant? How do you rate Brookgreen Gardens and do you know anything about Huntington Beach, something about an old castle on the beach??? Thanks
Mom4boys
My favorites in Murrell%26#39;s Inlet are Captain Dave%26#39;s Dockside, great outside patio with live music, Wahoo%26#39;s- tiki hut restaurant and Hot Fish Club. Dockside and Wahoo%26#39;s are on the Marshwalk (walkway along the water that connects all the restaurants).
Brookgreen and Huntington are accross the street from each other off of Hwy 17. There are ruins from Atalya in Huntington Beach State Park. Both are worth visiting.

Thank you so very much.
