hey there...

as far as renting the chairs and umbrella... the lifeguard sets them up every morning and takes them down. Normally.. you can jsut leave your stuff right around the chairs during the day and no one will mess with it. However.. if you have 6 adults.. you may want to invest in a nother umbrella from like the Wings store. To provide you with some extra shade. They run anywhere from 10 to 40 bucks.

BTW ~ I love the Palace!

Have a great time!

hi don%26#39;t know about the chairs but i am staying at the palace in august I read alot of reviews on how bad the place is let me know how your stay was please.

We bought 2 chairs and a sturdy umbrella (w/SPF 30) from Wal-Mart on the North side. The chairs were the nylon folding type with cup holders built in ($7). Everybody kept asking us where we got the umbrella from. The umbrella cost about $17 and was 6ft, about the size the lifeguards sell. I%26#39;m not familiar with the location you%26#39;ll be staying at, but the lifeguards out by Kingston Plantation rent the chairs/umbrellas for about $25 a day and place a ';reserved for: your family name'; sign on the chairs and nobody messes with them. I wouldn%26#39;t leave my things laying around for long, but I do see a lot of people who do. I see that as taking a big chance. Good luck with your stay!
