Is Forest Dunes Resort a great to stay?

Have anyone stayed at Forest Dunes Resort. My family are planning to stay at this resort in June. I don%26#39;t want to stay in a dump. Please let me know!!! Thanks

Is Forest Dunes Resort a great to stay?

I have never stayed at this resort but I can tell you that the beach is very crowded in that area during the summer months.

I stayed at the LongBay resort a couple of years ago in July and the crowds were intense. There are so many highrises in the area around the Forest Dunes which creates all the congestion...........read the reviews and then make your decision.

I stayed at the Forest Dunes this time last year and liked it alot. I beg to differ with the previous poster as there are NOT alot of high rises around there. That%26#39;s a big plus as the beach is not as crowded, yet you are a stone%26#39;s throw from all the hub-bub. My favorite thing about that area is they have a walking/jogging trail right out in front that is great either before or after the heat of the day. You will have a gorgeous view of the beach as it is a highrise and has few obstructions. Each unit is individually owned so some may be nicer than others, but we%26#39;ve had nothing but good experiences and it%26#39;s not a dump. I think it has a loyal following since they don%26#39;t often have vacancies. Have a great trip!

I haven%26#39;t stayed there but I also know it is at the residential end of Myrtle beach. There is a small road between the hotel and beach but only small cabanas are on the beach that don%26#39;t obstruct the view. It is in the prettiest area by far, in my opinion.
