Does anyone have input about the Litchfield

Beach and Golf Resort or any other place on

Pawley%26#39;s Island.

Litchfield Resort

I stayed at the Litchfield Inn 3 years ago, this summer. This resort has a very small pool area but a wonderful beach bar. The rooms only have microwaves and my husband and I were led to believe that they did have stoves. When we discovered it did not , we went out hunting on Pawleys Island for a grill or electric skillet, but could never find one. We ended up eating most meals at the hotels%26#39; restaurant. It%26#39;s nice but over priced.

They serve sandwiches for lunch at the beach bar but they don%26#39;t have enough umbrella tables for all the guests. We went in July, so maybe it was just a very busy time. When the tide came in, there was hardly any beach to walk on, also. I was very dissapointed with the pool. Very small. I would not go back.

hi , we stayed in Litchfield Resort 2 years ago. Great location on the beach , nice hotel nice pool ,Would go back.

Lots of restaurants in area.

There are lots of other accommodations at Litchfield i.e. houses, condos. One rental co is Dietercompany.com. Go to rental search and click on alpabetically. I am sure there are lots of others. We have stayed at a luxury condo on the beach in Litchfield and it was wonderful, I think it was called Fordham. There are several others. I would think this would be a lot nicer than the Resort (which is just one resort in the Litchfield community).

Hi I stayed at Litchfield last year. We stayed in the little townhomes by one of their golfcourses. It was a lovley place. The gold feilds are large and beautiful.

Also if you look at the website you can see this really nice pool with a gazebo like tower. You have to stay at certian parts of the resort to be able to use that pool though.
