i%26#39;m visiting myrtle beach sept 24- oct 1 for the first time with my fiance i was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a good place to see local rock bands or just local bands in general

The Bowery right near the pavillion has some good bands.

The Bowery actually has one band... the Head Hunters. Though there may be a substitue band on Sunday nights. These days... the Head Hunters are a mix of rowdy country and classic rock. Its very loud and smokey, but quite entertaining!

You could also go to house of blues all kinds of bands play there. www.HOB.com
