I plan to change my reservations if we can afford the extra cost.This was supposed to be our budget vacation since we have taken many expensive trips in the past.Sea crest sounds great, but have you ever heard anything about the Best Western Ocean Sands? I can%26#39;t find anything about it on this web site. It%26#39;s like it doesn%26#39;t exist. When I made my reservation, there was only 1 non-smoking room left so I%26#39;m thinking that it can%26#39;t be too bad. The location (N.Myrtle) is the biggest problem for me. It got 3 diamonds from AAA so that usually means that the place is clean.Cleanliness is very important to me too. Thanks again!

Yes there is information on it on here.It is in The north myrtle beach forum.Just type the full name in the search box and it will come up.It looks like it gets bad reviews.What is the price difference?I think it is a lot smaller hotel.I have stayed in a lot of hotels so waht is your budget like?I hope this helps.

Sweetiepie, I found the N. myrtle forum but don%26#39;t have time to read all comments. I went thru the list quickly and saw only info. on other hotels with ';sands'; in the name. The sea crest is only about $120.00 more(total) so I will probably make the change soon. Thanks, ckay

ckay, I was reading this forum and you stated that a hotel that had 3 diamonds from AAA must be clean, the diamonds are for the accommodations, 1 meaning no-frills and 5 meaning they have everything. I have been to several 3 diamond hotels that were old, rundown, %26amp; dirty, so do not think because it has 3 diamonds it is clean.

There is a good condo in the Cherry Grove section of N. Myrtle that has had 6 weeks of blocks lifted, so there is a lot of availability left. It%26#39;s a great condo w/ fantastic views of inlet, across the street from the beach. Called Reflections, unit is A-7. Can be rented through Elliott Realty. Pictures are old, as it has been upgraded since then. For what you get, prices are great for budget vacation.
