Young couple celebrating 1st yr wedding anniversary--where...

Hi,

My husband and I are heading to Myrtle beach for the first time. We are in our late twenties--so we want to find a nice place close to the action. We%26#39;ve been considering Coral Beach--what are your thoughts? Are there any couple oriented resorts on S. blvd or are they all in the north?

I have been going to Myrtle Beach for the past 30 years, and I absolutely love it there! I don%26#39;t want to go anywhere else. I can only speak for the north end of Myrtle, as I don%26#39;t stay down in the southern end, too noisy, too congested for me. They have so many things and usually whatever is in South Myrtle, is also in North Myrtle except for Barefoot Landing, which is in N Myrtle, and Broadway by the Beach which is in S Myrtle. Alot of the restaurants are in both and their are miniature golf places everywhere up and down Hwy 17. We used to go camping, but recently have been going to condos. We love it at Sea Watch Resort. It%26#39;s a little pricier, but it%26#39;s well worth it. It%26#39;s, clean, quiet and has loads of ammenties. Look on the internet for this resort and see for yourself. You will go back to Myrtle I%26#39;m sure. Everyone who goes once, always goes back!

I agree with Myrtlebeachlover, I have been going to myrtle for many many years, I went with my parents camping as a child and now my children and grandchildren go, although we no longer camp. Where we used to camp now is Kingston Plantation. I have only missed going to Myrtle about 4 times since I was 6years old. We make our reservation for the next year before we leave each summer. Enjoy your trip

Congratulations. It all depends what you are looking for and price range. To me, Myrtle Beach is more for kids and teens. Crouded, loud, amusement parks, etc. North Myrtle is great. It%26#39;s close to Myrtle and all shopping, golf, and anything else. I can personally recommend a condo in Cherry Grove (North Myrtle) called Reflections. It has a fantastic view of inlet/marsh, and only 100 yards, if that, to the beach and pier. We stayed in unit A-7 and it was nicely decorated, furnished. Check it out through Elliott Realty. Have fun whatever you do.

A beautiful condo hotel www.thepalaceresort.com They have a Cleopatra%26#39;s suite that is really nice.We have stayed at The Coral Beach and loved it too.I wish for you many more years of happiness have a great trip.
