I burnt my feet on the sand in Daytona Beach. How does Myrtle Beach compare?

Is it safe to walk the beach at night? Thanks.

I did the same when I lived in Virginia Beach but it was in the middle of the day. From my experiences at MB the sand is not that hot late in the evening or at night but during mid-day the dry sand between the dunes and the surf can get very hot. The beach at MB is not near as wide as Daytona so the expanse of hot sand is not that wide. You can easily hurry across it to the tidal area where the sand is damp and cooler.

But you can never go wrong with a pair of cheap rubber flip flops :)~ I%26#39;ve got to have them when I go to the beach.

and yes it is completely safe to walk on the beach at night.

I agree with them both the sand isnt that wide so you can just hurry to to tide ro where the sand is cool or like they said just buy a pair of cheap flip flops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When ya going
