Where is a good place to watch the dolphins without going on a dolphin watching cruise. We tryed that and it was fun but didn%26#39;t see many dolphins. I read about a place to watch them from the shore around dusk but can%26#39;t remember where the place was. Please post any places you know of.

Hey there... we always see dophins in the ashley while eating at the California Dreamin in Charleston. In case you want to take a trip and have a good dinner at the same time.

I have spent the summers on Hilton Head in a condo overlooking Broad Creek (in the center of the island). On many occasions, we can see porposies/dolphins from our windows. You may want to try a kayak trip from Shelter Cove Marina into Broad Creek. You may see a dolphin during your trip. If you are like me and never been in a kayak before, it is a great easy trip (be sure to bring plenty of bottled water).

Also there are several site seeing cruises that leave Shelter Cove and you may see dolphins/porpoises during the trip.
