visiting myrtle beach for the first time end of september

me and my fiance are visiting myrtle beach for the first time sept 24- oct 1 i%26#39;m trying to figure out where to stay i%26#39;m thinking of staying at the atlantica . if anyone could give me some feedback on that hotel it would be great.i read the reviews and they were some good and some bad. but if anybody maybe recently went or whatever and could help it would be great or if anyone has any other suggestions . we are looking for something oceanfront with an indoor pool in like a good location close to entertainment . we aren%26#39;t going to have a car so we want to be close to some of the fun stuff. also is the weather nice at that time of year and is the water a swimable temp? well any feedback would be helpful

I would strongly suggest renting a car while you are there. There is so much you would miss without it. That should be a great time to be there - crowd and weatherwise.
